Social Care Worker (Reablement Overnight Service)

Salary: £27,257 - £29,850 (pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: 35 per week
Shift pattern: 5 nights on / 4 nights off, 9.30 pm – 7.00 am
Responsibilities
* Assist in the development of a personal care plan, ensuring the health, well‑being, and emotional needs of service users are met and their individual outcomes are achieved.
* Monitor and review individual residents’ personal plans as they pertain to overnight care, ensuring assessment of service users’ needs is met within a multidisciplinary team approach.
* Provide personal care services in line with the policies, procedures, and standards set by the Department, the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care, and the S.S.S.C.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Role is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
* Candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check; an overseas criminal record check is required if the applicant has spent 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years.
* Unconditional offer and commencement depend on satisfactory completion of both pre‑employment checks.

Other Information
Our salary range reflects the initial starting salary and increases annually until it reaches the top of the range.
