We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Wedding and Events Venue Manager to join our friendly team here at Osmaston Park.
Osmaston Park is beautiful and highly regarded wedding venue situated in the Derbyshire countryside with incredible views, which as well as being busy with weddings also plays host to other exciting events between April and October each year.
We are looking for a happy and enthusiastic candidate who would like to run and grow a successful wedding and events business. Good communication skills are essential as well as a desire to deliver high standards. Previous and proven experience as a wedding/events manager/coordinator and/or sales/marketing manager would be advantageous.
Your role will include:
* Responding to all weddings and event enquiries
* To take responsibility from enquiry stage to completion of the event
* Meeting couples and suppliers and conducting all venue viewings
* Issuing contracts & invoices
* Increase event enquiries and bookings via effective Marketing and Social Media
* To always deliver the best possible service to couples
* To coordinate and communicate between management and maintenance for all events
* To understand all elements of the weddings and events business at Osmaston Park
* Liaison with venue team to ensure site readiness and client satisfaction
* Reporting to and meeting with management team on weekly basis
Your position would have flexible hours to suit you, but will include some evening and weekend working due to viewings and events.
The role includes the ability to Work Remotely with head office visits once a week. Alternatively, an office can be provided.
