Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, delivering care on the Isle of Wight, is pleased to offer a Registered Nurse Associate Apprenticeship. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to become caring, compassionate professionals who uphold NHS values and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for Nursing Associates.
Through diverse clinical placements and a rigorous academic programme, our apprentice nurses will develop and deliver skilled, evidence-based care in partnership with patients, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other registered care professional, focusing on promoting health and independence.
2. Demonstrate proficient attitudes and behaviours aligned with NHS Values.
3. Work as part of a clinical and care team to address the direct needs of individuals.
4. Perform delegated clinical and care tasks to a high standard under supervision.
5. Collaborate with practice assessors and supervisors to develop clinical competence, leadership, and reflective practice skills during placements and training.
6. Provide feedback to support the evaluation of the apprenticeship programme.
