We are recruiting into our national Residential Building Consultancy team based either in London or Manchester.
Our team works with all Client groups in the Affordable Housing, Specialist Care, Prime Central London, Build to Rent and Student Sectors delivering technical due diligence, professional work and project led work including contract administration and project monitoring.
We are looking for an outward-looking, Stock Condition Survey Manager with a residential sector track record, a strong sense of ‘team spirit’ and an ambition to deliver excellence.
What this job involves
* Completing technical due diligence for the sale or acquisition of existing assets
* Leading or assisting with the co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required
* Professional work including dilapidations, reinstatement cost assessments and licences to alter
* Preparing, collating and delivering stock condition surveys of properties for a variety of purposes
* Setting up surveys, managing multiple groups of surveyors, interpretation of results and reporting
* Data management, database management and quality assurance
* Making sustainable business links with both external and internal clients and offering a professional and excellent client service at all times
* Working with internal multi-disciplinary teams on shared instructions including our market leading affordable housing valuation and transaction teams
* Undertaking business development with new and existing clients
* Some travel will be required in this role

* Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
* Enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated
* Strong verbal and numerical skills, comfortable with report writing
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Flexible and able to work under pressure
* MRICS (building surveying) with proven experience, preferably PQE in a commercial consultancy
* Understanding of or qualifications for SAP/NHER, NEBOSH, DEA, DHS and HHSRS
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
* Well presented with excellent communication skills
