As a Senior SEO/GEO Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping, leading and developing StrategiQ’s search offering. You’ll be the person our teams and clients turn to for clear strategy, direction and expertise in search; developing and evolving high-performance search programmes across some of our largest and most strategically important accounts.
As well as getting involved in day to day delivery, you’ll take wider responsibility for scoping complex projects, defining delivery approaches, and ensuring search recommendations integrate effectively with wider marketing and business strategies. You’ll act as a consultant and advisor to clients, helping them understand how search can support commercial goals, influence cross-channel planning, and deliver measurable long-term value.
You’ll bring technical depth, strategic confidence and a strong perspective on where search is heading. Whatever you’re doing you’ll be building the knowledge and skills of those around you, whether within your own team, to our clients, or the wider team at StrategiQ as an ambassador for the importance of search in our clients’ marketing mix.
It's absolutely essential that you bring:
* 3-5 years of experience leading complex SEO strategies across technical, content and architectural workstreams
* Deep technical SEO confidence in crawling, performance optimisation, large-scale site management and emerging search technologies (AI search behaviours, multimodal search, SERP evolution)
* Advanced working knowledge of enterprise SEO platforms, analytics suites, diagnostic tools and data environments
* Natural leadership and communication skills which enable you to translate advanced strategies into clear, compelling narratives that earn client buy-in
You'll be responsible and accountable for:
* Hands on delivery; auditing, planning campaigns and delivering client growth strategies relating to our search services
* Bringing SEO consultancy to client account including technical reviews, architectural recommendations, content strategy guidance and performance measurement
* Leading discovering and project scoping; defining requirements, delivery approach and measurement frameworks
* Strategic direction on key accounts, ensuring search strategies align with a client’s business goals and our wider programme of marketing work for them
* Ensuring work meets the highest standards and that teams are set up for success across technical, content and analytics workstreams
* Monitoring core KPIs, ensuring they are at the heart of search strategy and delivery
* Reporting on your work and supporting Client Directors or Client Managers to demonstrate the impact of our work, including at QBRs
* Pitching and winning work with existing and new clients. Identifying opportunities, building relationships in meetings, writing proposals, contributing to pitch decks and advocating for search internally and in the wider industry
* Internal education; advocating for search, contributing to team knowledge, proposals and wider industry engagement
* Bringing innovation into the team: testing new methodologies, tools and approaches to keep StrategiQ at the forefront of search
