We are supporting an established Ayrshire law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with a background in residential conveyancing/property to join their busy team. The Role
As a Legal Secretary within the conveyancing team, you will play a key role in supporting fee earners and ensuring files progress smoothly from instruction through to completion. Daily responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and formatting legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail
* Managing correspondence, client updates, and file administration
* Using the firm's case management system to maintain and update records
* Audio typing and digital dictation
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other third parties
* Supporting colleagues with diary management, scanning, filing, and general office duties
* Assisting on reception when required
About You
* Experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within conveyancing/property
* Confident typing and audio typing skills
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and general IT systems
* Excellent communication skills and a professional manner with clients
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage deadlines
* A proactive and organised approach to supporting fee earners
* Training provided on all internal systems
* Funding available for Paralegal qualifications
