Job Title: Intelligence Officer

Location: Reigate or Glasgow, One day a week

Intelligence Officer: Play an important role in protecting the business by reviewing, analysing, and acting on intelligence from a range of internal and external sources.
You will use insight to support fraud detection and prevention across policies and claims, helping the organisation respond effectively to financial crime risks. Working collaboratively, you will coordinate intelligence activity, support investigations, and contribute to informed decision-making that protects customers and the business.
Main Responsibilities
* Review and assess intelligence reports to support fraud detection and prevention activity.
* Analyse data and produce clear reports on financial crime risks for a range of stakeholders.
* Build and maintain relationships with insurers, regulators, and law enforcement partners.
* Respond to intelligence and information requests, including preparing formal statements where required.
* Support the coordination and escalation of organised fraud and linked claims cases.
* Maintain and update systems to ensure accurate capture of intelligence and fraud indicators.
* Complete anti-money laundering activities, including sanctions reviews and suspicious activity reporting.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and outcomes.
Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of fraud or financial crime risk management, including policy and claims environments.
* Understanding of intelligence handling and analysis principles.
* Familiarity with anti-money laundering and suspicious activity reporting requirements.
* Experience analysing data and producing clear, actionable insights.
* Confident communicator, able to explain complex information clearly to different audiences.
* Strong attention to detail when handling sensitive or high-volume information.
* Ability to manage priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Comfortable working with data, systems, and standard Microsoft Office tools.
* Collaborative approach with the ability to build trust across internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience with fraud detection tools or insurance systems is advantageous.
