Join our dynamic corporate affairs team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Board of Directors, its committees, and the Council of Governors. We are looking for a dynamic, driven individual who is a self-starter, can work autonomously and in a team, and support the delivery of the corporate affairs agenda. It is an exciting time to join the team for a 12 month fixed term contract.
The role that you would be taking up would be to orchestrate meetings: Draft, prepare, and circulate agendas, reports, and papers. Take minutes, capture actions, and ensure timely follow-ups. Supporting the team leadership and working closely with the Head of Corporate Affairs and Secretariat and the Head of Governor and Membership Office and other key leaders to provide excellent administrative support. You will be a key representative for our organisation, serving as the key contact for both internally and externally with our local partner organisations. You will also be working closely with the Trust Board Secretary supporting all things Trust Board from development and strategy sessions to board meetings and support meet and greet and front of house preparation. This role really is an exciting development opportunity.

Main duties of the job
Provide comprehensive support to the Board of Directors and Council of Governors. Maintain board administration software and support the annual self-assessment of effectiveness.
Handle enquiries from Board members, Governors, Trust members, service users, carers, and the public with finesse.
Work Collaboratively across corporate teams inclusive of Informatics and Communications to ensure effective communication systems.
Assist in ensuring robust engagement between Governors, Trust members, and key stakeholders supporting the head of Governor and Membership Office.
Ensure meetings comply with the Trust’s Constitution and Standing Orders and maintain a forward business plan as directed by the Head of Corporate Governance and work with other team members to support the delivery of the Board induction process and ensure committees are properly constituted as and when required.

High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436 pro rata for part time).
