About the Role
You'll be assembling and fitting precision machinery from detailed technical drawings, ensuring high build quality and attention to detail throughout the process. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone experienced in special‑purpose machinery builds.
Location: Bristol, UK – BS14
Full‑Time | Day Shifts
Mon-Fri 08:00‑16:00
Ongoing position
Start Date: ASAP
£18‑£20 P/H DOE
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble and fit bespoke packaging machinery
* Work from mechanical engineering drawings
* Perform precision fitting, alignment, and testing
* Collaborate with engineers to resolve build issues
* Maintain quality and health & safety standards
* Measurement and allignment techniques
* Workshop mechanical assembly
* Build, test and commissioning of packaging machinery
* Building sub-assemblies
* Pneumatic installation
* Set up and running of customer products prior to on‑site commissioning
What We're Looking For
* Mechanical fitting or machine build experience (special‑purpose equipment preferred)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Reliable, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented
* Relevant mechanical qualifications or apprenticeship (preferred)
