The role
The business is seeking a high quality commercial lawyer to join its in-house team in a key Senior Legal Counsel role, supporting the General Counsel. This is an interesting and varied position.
* Managing day-to-day legal queries and advising on a variety of legal issues facing the UK business.
* Drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts for suppliers, agencies and software, consumer contracts, marketing law (terms and conditions, promotions and advertising campaigns.
* Technology projects
* Stakeholder management
* Advising on high level consumer complaints
* Instructing and managing external lawyers
* Creating template documents and processes as necessary
* Training and development for internal clients
* Compliance and regulatory oversight and guidance – OFCOM, ICO
About you
* Significant commercial legal experience
* Strong academics
* In-house experience essential either gained on secondment or working in-house permanently.
* Law firm trained
* Strong interpersonal skills
* PQE bracket is 4 years and above. This is a guide only.
