James Gray Recruitment is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Glasgow. With a strong pipeline of civil infrastructure, energy, and development projects across Scotland and beyond, this is a great opportunity to take your geotechnical career to the next level.
What ’ s involved?
You'll take the lead in developing ground models, managing ground investigations, and producing geotechnical designs for foundations, retaining walls, slopes, and earthworks. The role involves both technical delivery and team mentoring, making it ideal for engineers looking to combine hands-on design with leadership.
You ’ ll also work closely with civil and structural teams, applying value engineering to maximise project outcomes and contribute to high-profile developments in the region.

What we ’ re looking for:
* Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Engineering Geology
* Ideally chartered or working toward chartership
* Familiarity with ground investigation techniques and design tools (e.g. Plaxis )
