Job Opportunity: Deputy Headteacher at The Holden School
Join us at The Holden School, part of Acorn Education, as a Deputy Headteacher (Behaviour and Attitudes). This role is pivotal in leading behaviour strategies within a special SEMH school catering to pupils aged 5 to 16.
We are committed to staff wellbeing, participating in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, which, if successful, will be rolled out across the group. This means working four days a week for full pay, providing a better work/life balance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategic initiatives on behaviour and attitudes in alignment with the school's ethos.
* Collaborate with the SLT, clinical staff, and wider community to promote high standards and innovative behaviour support.
* Develop a positive school culture that encourages collaboration, accountability, and success.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status and relevant degree.
* Experience in leadership within a school, preferably with SEMH or special needs.
* Knowledge of behaviour management, safeguarding, and pastoral care.
