Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Belper / Derbyshire Job Type: Permanent | Full‑Time Shifts: Rotating Days & Afternoons (No Nights) A long‑term maintenance role in a modern, highly automated manufacturing environment. We are recruiting a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established manufacturing site near Belper / Derby. The business operates a highly automated production facility and places strong emphasis on engineering standards, employee development, and long‑term stability. This role offers the chance to work with modern equipment, within a structured shift pattern that supports a healthy work-life balance. The Role You will be part of a skilled on‑site engineering team responsible for maintaining the performance and reliability of automated production machinery. Key responsibilities include: Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance Electrical and mechanical fault‑finding to minimise downtime Working with PLC‑controlled systems, motors, drives, sensors, and pneumatics Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Accurately completing maintenance records using a CMMS Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to site standards Working closely with production and engineering colleagues Skills & Experience This role would suit an engineer with a balanced electrical and mechanical background in a manufacturing setting.
