We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated sociology graduate to join a Gateshead primary school as a full-time 1:1 SEND Support Assistant, supporting a Year 1 pupil.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
* Help the pupil access learning in a structured way
* Support social interaction and communication
* Encourage independence and confidence
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo
Who We’re Looking For
* Sociology graduate or similar
* Patient, calm, and observant
* Strong understanding of behaviour and social development
