Location: Secondary School, Ellesmere Port
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (flexibility available)
Contract: Term Time Only

About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support classroom teaching, help manage student behaviour and provide targeted support to individuals or small groups. Responsibilities include:
* Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students’ learning
* Providing one-to-one or small group support, particularly for students with additional needs
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Helping students achieve their learning and personal development goals
* Supporting behaviour management and classroom routines
Person Specification:
We are looking for graduates who:
* Have previous experience working with children or in a school environment
* Are confident, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting young people
* Communicate effectively and work well in a team
* Can build strong relationships with students and staff
* Follow safeguarding protocols and prioritise student safety
Use initiative and problem-solving skills in a classroom setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
