The award winning team at the neonatal Unit within the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow are excited to be offering the opportunity for experienced Neonatal Nurses to apply for a Band 7 role with our highly motivated service.
We deliver a friendly and progressive neonatal service. The 50 bed unit comprises Level 3 intensive care, high dependency and special care cots. We also have a 4 bed rooming-in suite and benefit from a well-developed community liaison service. We are a UNICEF ‘Baby Friendly’, family friendly department and continue to strive for high levels of attainment when measured against national markers. We are keen to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Charge Nurse/Midwife, who has the right level of experience and skills to enhance our service.
Applicants should hold a relevant Neonatal qualification. They must demonstrate excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team. They must demonstrate evidence of ongoing clinical development and awareness of NHSGGC policies and strategies.
