Equans is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team on-site in Westminster, London, on a permanent basis. This full-time position offers a salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,801 per annum, depending on skills and experience, along with a benefits package.
Role Overview
This role is part of a prestigious government facilities management contract. It involves working day shifts, from 09:00 to 18:00, with some flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on mechanical systems, including plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems, and assist with building fabric and electrical systems.
2. Maintain assets efficiently following PPM schedules and ensure compliance.
3. Handle reactive tasks from diagnosis to sourcing parts and completion.
4. Respond promptly to reactive call-outs, working safely and in accordance with relevant codes of practice.
5. Collaborate with subcontractors and other parties to deliver high-quality work, adhering to best practices.

Candidate Requirements
* City & Guilds or NVQ in plumbing (preferable).
* City & Guilds or NVQ in mechanical engineering.
* Knowledge of building services and 18th Edition Wiring regulations.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Full clean driving license.
* Ability to obtain CTC clearance if not already held.
