Senior Bid Coordinator
Our Bids Team is now recruiting for a Senior Bid Coordinator to help support with ongoing workload. This will be an opportunity to work across all of our sectors. You should be able to manage the process of compiling and producing high‑quality submissions in order to achieve contract wins. We are open to the role being based in any of our UK offices.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing tender preparation/support on tenders for all sectors, primarily for our Highways and Urban Mobility Sector Directors.
* Supporting tender preparation for other sectors during peaks in workload when capacity allows.
* Managing the entire process of preparing a successful bid submission, including management of online portals, coordination of internal and external partners, leading development of bid responses (bid structure, content, responses to questions), ensuring submission per tender processes and deadlines.
* Attending all tender and proposal briefings, liaising with Subject Matter Experts to develop compelling collateral.
* Maintaining a high level of market intelligence, legislative requirements and best practice to create winning bids.
* Proofreading final material and providing technical and commercial writing skills where required.
* Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the process, obtaining and sharing best practice with the team.
* Developing and using creative approaches to writing and presentation of bids.
* Updating a library of company standard SQ and tender responses.
* Assisting in production, graphic design/production, delivery and management of bids, PQQs, reports and presentations.
Candidate Profile
* Significant years of experience working as a Bid Coordinator.
* Degree level qualification or equivalent time served.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills with strong commercial awareness.
* Highly organised and comfortable coordinating and managing bids for multiple technical teams.
* Ability to stay calm and focused in fast‑paced environments while juggling multiple deadlines.
* Ability to prioritise high volumes of work from a multitude of sources to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
* Experience formatting, reviewing and proofreading materials for content and grammar.
* Confident independent presentation skills.
* Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
