This is an exciting time to join Bridgend County Borough Council in the role of Communications Officer for the Communities Directorate. We are seeking a highly experienced, creative communications professional with significant experience in delivering exceptional, engaging content for waste, recycling and regeneration services.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the service to create and deliver impactful, audience‑focused communications for the Waste and Recycling Service as the service transitions back in‑house.
* Communicate major regeneration projects across the county borough and promote the pride in place campaign.
* Plan and execute campaigns, develop digital strategy and analyse performance metrics.
Qualifications
* Highly experienced and creative communications professional with significant experience delivering exceptional, engaging content for waste, recycling and regeneration services.
* Strong skills in campaign planning, digital strategy, analytics and storytelling across social media, video and other digital platforms.
* Ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh language.
* Commitment to protecting children, young people, or adults at risk.
