Albion Recruitment is currently working with a well-established main contractor who is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Region 4. This opportunity has arisen due to multiple projects commencing in March across the East Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing division delivering façade and cladding schemes, working under an experienced Commercial Manager on live and upcoming projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for the commercial management of façade and cladding packages across projects primarily in the East Midlands, with potential involvement on schemes in Norwich as they come online.
Key Responsibilities

Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
*
Preparing and reviewing applications, valuations, and variations
*
Cost forecasting, reporting, and CVR management
*
Supporting procurement strategy and subcontractor negotiations
*
Working closely with site teams to monitor progress and commercial performance
*
Identifying and mitigating commercial risk
Candidate Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
*
Exposure to façade, cladding, or external envelope packages preferred
*
Strong understanding of commercial processes and contract administration
*
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
*
Full UK driving licence (hybrid role with travel required)
*
Based within the East Midlands region (Leicester, Peterborough, Northampton, Corby ideal)
