Job overview
If you are SCPHN qualified Health Visitor or School Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience post qualification to join our leadership team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, organised, hard working public health nurse to help develop the team to deliver a high quality service to families, children and young people in the diverse borough of Redbridge. The successful candidate will be required to work with partners to support pathways to develop team members in their roles.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for supporting service delivery and the delivery of clinical governance through the ongoing identification and development of clinical practice across 0-19 Universal services. This will also include the evaluation and management of those developments to ensure best practice is achieved. The focus will be related to 0-19 Health Visiting and School nursing practices but occasionally some of the developments involve multi-professional initiatives, where there is integrated service across statutory organisation/voluntary colleagues.

Probationary Period

High-Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,551 and a maximum payment of £5,735) pro rata for part time staff.

Experience

* Demonstration of leading change in practice
Knowledge
* Understand the current issues in 0-19
* Knowledge and understanding of the development, role, and value of effective clinical leadership

* Credible clinical background, demonstrating excellent clinical decision-making skills
* Good interpersonal skills including the ability to establish professional credibility with a wide range of professionals.
