Overview
You will be responsible for carrying out automation improvements and projects on the production lines and machinery, fault‑finding, and planned preventive maintenance on a range of automated and semi‑automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast‑paced FMCG environment. Working Monday – Friday, you will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting production performance across the site.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out automation improvements and projects on the production lines and machinery, fault‑finding, and planned preventive maintenance on a range of automated and semi‑automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.
Requirements – Essential
- Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Hands‑on experience with pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast‑paced industrial factory.
- Experience within an automation support role.
- Hands‑on electrical fault‑finding experience.
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Automation experience within a similar environment.
- PLC fault‑finding experience.
Requirements – Desirable
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
- Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
