Assistant Coordinator, Feeder Procurement - London, Greater London, United KingdomThe RoleWe are looking for someone who would support the manager and team with the Administrative Management and Cost Control of Common Feeder Services, in the Europe and Africa Region. Their key areas of responsibilities will include: Product & QualityCollect and Coordinate performance feedback from Common Feeder dispatch offices.Communicate common feeder performance and KPI data as well as the maintenance of the reporting, to assist stakeholders during procurement and vendor management process (e.g. billing process, planning optimization).Monitor and maintain optimum Common Feeder routing set-up based on preferred vendorsAssist with implementation of new developments (new transhipment ports, new services, new routes or new third-party agents) for common feeders.Upon request, support Senior Procurement Coordinator and update the vendor database.Actively support the data management and general process of Common feeder tendersStrategy implementation and optimisationSupport the Manager and Senior Procurement coordinator in regular performance review meetings with operators.Support the team with market intelligence and any business opportunities.Provide administrative procurement support in the preparation analysis / material prior to vendor contract negotiations.Provide administrative support in the finalisation of contracts and service agreements for internal processes (e.g. Agreement Approval submission) and system maintenance (OPUS)Assist the team in the identification of potential cost saving initiatives.Pro-actively support Go Green Go ONE initiatives.Maintenance of Internal Company System Tools Day to day monitor the correctness and validity of data allowing front lines to organise pricing in the most efficient way, including periodic yield review. Execute updates and create or constrain Common Feeder legs and routes. Where requested update or validate concluded Tariff Agreements in the systemMaintain VRM records in applicable system(s).Cost Control / Management PlanSupport Feeder and Terminal Cost Control Coordinators with the maintenance and distribution of cost / performance reportsSupport budget control.Create and monitor KPIs for internal and external stakeholders Contribute to a cost saving and cost recovery mindset.ComplianceSupport the team to ensure that all transactions in relation to vendor procurement and control are fully compliant with company rules and regulations such as UK Bribery Act.Good understanding of JSOX and awareness of ISO14001 and AEO procedures.Scope of dataIn conjunction with the Managers work along set budgets for all relevant cost elements.
