Overview
I am currently assisting my client, a regional main contractor, with their requirement for a freelance Site Engineer for a £25m new build commercial project in Norwich. The duration is approximately 6 months. The role will include reporting to the project manager, QA, checking, setting out and supervising subcontractors.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the project manager and QA.
* Checking, setting out and supervising subcontractors.
* Maintaining line & level control.
* Measurements & Calculations.
* Interpretation of technical drawings.
* Providing technical assistance to the project team where required.
* Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers.
* Checking the accuracy of subcontractors' work where required.
* Managing subcontractors and site teams.
* Key works packages include groundworks, piling, and frame construction.
Qualifications
* Essential: CSCS card.
* Preferred: SMSTS instructor/qualification.
* Preferred: First Aid.
