Role Overview:
As a Part-Time School Handyperson, you will play a vital role in maintaining the school's facilities and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for their students and staff. Your tasks will be diverse and engaging, allowing you to use your skills in various handyman work.
Key Responsibilities:
Mowing lawns and tending to gardens 🌼
Fixing shelves and handling minor repairs 🔧
Addressing leaky taps and plumbing issues 🚰
Setting up tables and chairs for events 🪑
General handyman work to support the school's needs
Opening up gates and buildings every Monday and Tuesday at 7 am
Disabling the alarm system upon arrivalWorking Pattern:
Days: Mondays & Tuesdays
Hours: 7 am - 1 pm
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £12.21Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check and two references are required
Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
