QA Tester role at Graphics Unlimited (Vic) Pty Ltd
We’re seeking an experienced QA Tester to join the Health and Disability team and work on meaningful services at DWP Digital.
The Skills, Knowledge and Experience You Need
* Experience in manual and automated testing across complex digital applications.
* Strong understanding of functional and non-functional requirements and risk-based testing approaches.
* Ability to define test specifications, scripts, and conditions with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Skilled in fault analysis and communication with development teams to resolve issues effectively.
* Confident in collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to workshops and stakeholder discussions.
You and your role
As part of a multi-disciplinary digital team, you will be responsible for defining and executing tests on one of DWP's largest benefit applications – Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assessing the testability of requirements.
* Setting up test environments and data.
* Identifying automation opportunities.
* Ensuring a risk‑based approach to testing.Reviewing specifications, raising questions to clarify requirements, and ensuring solutions meet user needs.
* Producing manual test scripts, analysing faults, and contributing to our digital workshops.
Details, Wages, Perks
Location: One of our digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: 40% remote, 60% on-site at the hub.
Pay: Up to £38,772.
Pension: Civil Service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth £11,232 per year.
Holidays: 23 days rising to 31 days over time + up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi‑time + all public holidays.
