Amazing opportunity to join a Tier2 Legal500 firm in Leeds.
A leading Leeds based law firm is a highly regarded, full service law firm based in Leeds, known for its strong sector focus, partner led approach and commitment to developing talented lawyers. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with between 1 and 3 years’ PQE to join its established and well respected dispute resolution team.
The role
You will work as part of a collaborative commercial litigation team acting for a broad range of clients, including owner managed businesses, SMEs, national companies and high net worth individuals. The role offers exposure to high quality, often complex disputes, with a genuine opportunity to take on early responsibility while being supported by experienced partners.
The work will include:
* General commercial litigation and dispute resolution
* Contractual disputes
* Shareholder and partnership disputes
* Professional negligence claims
* Contentious probate matters
* Debt recovery and enforcement
* Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation
You will be encouraged to manage your own caseload appropriate to your level, assist on larger matters and play an active role in client relationships.
The ideal candidate
* Qualified Solicitor with 1 to 3 years’ PQE in commercial litigation
* Experience gained at a recognised regional or national firm
* Strong technical ability with a commercial and pragmatic approach
* Confident communicator with good client facing skills
* Keen to be involved in business development and networking activities
* Ambitious, proactive and keen to progress within a growing team
