Managers and applicants must note that all secondments are subject to agreement between the relevant departments and therefore the recruiting manager must speak with HR before offering a job on a secondment basis.* Cemeteries & Crematorium Administrator About the role: An opportunity has arisen within Landican Cemetery for a Cemeteries and Crematorium Administrator to provide a high quality, professional and emphatic bereavement service to the recently bereaved, providing advice and guidance to relatives. Together with undertaking all administrative duties associated with the authorities nine cemeteries, the crematorium and associated memorialization. What would be involved: Providing a professional, empathetic service to families and members of the public. Manage bookings for burials and cremations, ensuring all statutory requirements are met. Liaise with Funeral Directors, stonemasons, and other stakeholders to process permits and memorial applications. Maintaining accurate records and handle payments for services. Assist with memorial safety checks and compliance with council policies. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Experience in data management and compliance with regulations (including GDPR).
