Job Description
Join our dynamic multidisciplinary community team in Lincolnshire as a Registered Nurse. We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to provide holistic, person‑centred end‑of‑life care. In these roles, you will assess and understand the care and support needs of patients and their loved ones, ensuring compassionate and comprehensive support during their most critical times.
You will conduct research and network across the system to understand the broad range of services available to individuals and those important to them. You will collaborate with other providers, supporting the wider system to enhance the experience of dying, death, and bereavement.
You will work within relevant legal, ethical, capability and clinical frameworks, the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code and in accordance with Marie Curie policy and procedure.
We are currently offering opportunities for both permanent and bank positions. Key details:
* Shift: Night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday to Sunday.
* Permanent position: 24 hours of work per week, flexible schedule that may vary from week to week.
* Salary: Competitive pay based on the Marie Curie Pay Scale Band 5 (aligned with AFC), ranging from £15.87 to £19.32 per hour, plus night‑time enhancements.
* Location: Community‑based positions available in Boston, Grantham and Lincoln.
What We Are Looking For
* Registered Nurse on the NMC Register with a relevant qualification and experience.
* Proven expertise and experience in palliative and end‑of‑life care within a community setting.
* A holistic and person‑centred approach to nursing practice.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and effectively with patients, families and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for delivering high‑quality care to those at the end of life.
* A valid driving licence, access to a car and willingness to drive to patients’ homes.
