Job Description
37 hours per week
Temporary up to 6 months
Covering Support at Home, Residential & Extracare, Mobile Response Team (MRT) and HMP Parc.
Responsibilities
* Strategically develop and manage social care services across the directorate.
* Lead strategic plans to reshape existing models of support and contribute to overall social care development.
* Promote person‑centred, person‑led services and engage families and carers in consultation processes.
* Ensure statutory requirements and strategic direction are met, delivering outcomes aligned with the Social Services & Wellbeing Act (Wales) 2014 and RISCA standards.
* Deploy resources effectively across services to meet statutory requirements.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience managing services regulated by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).
* Registered manager with Social Care Wales.
* Recognised qualification in Leadership and Management.
* Enhanced with Adults Barred list criminal records check by DBS.
* Capability for emergency response.
