Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Families First Team
Pay rate: £48 per hour
Vitalis is recruiting for a Qualified Team Manager to work in a Families First team in Plymouth.
We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to support the Families First Children’s Service for a short period of up to approximately 3 months, assisting with the ongoing implementation of the new front door. The Families First Children’s Service is designed around the two key principles of effective safeguarding as outlined in Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023:
* Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility: For services to be effective, all professionals and organizations should play their full part.
* A child-centred approach: Services should be based on a clear understanding of the needs and views of children. Our partners, alongside social work practitioners, will work together to gather comprehensive information about a child and their family in one place. This will inform decision-making and ensure children receive the right support at the right time to prevent needs from escalating.
