30 hours per week, term time only, £28,100 per annum, pro rata. Fixed term contract until 30th June 2028 (with the possibility of the role being extended beyond this date).
Your role will be to work across Coventry with children and young people and their families who are affected by Domestic Abuse to improve their safety, understand their experience, and overcome the trauma of experiencing domestic violence and abuse. This will include delivering support and group work interventions to children face-to-face and online, and delivering DA Parenting groupwork. You will collaboratively with statutory and voluntary partners, including Children Services, DA partner agencies and WM Police.
· You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience of working directly with children and young people in a supporting role from a school, family support, or charity setting
· You must have a good understanding of Domestic Abuse and the impact on children and their families
· You must have access to a confidential space in your home for some online working and administration tasks
· You must be able to drive and have access to the use of a vehicle for work
· You should be motivated, resilient, and committed to meeting positive outcomes for children and young people.
