About the Nursery Manager Role
As a Nursery Manager, you will:
* Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the nursery team
* Ensure safeguarding policies are implemented and understood by all staff
* Oversee curriculum planning and delivery within the EYFS framework
* Manage staff development, administration, and compliance with Ofsted standards
* Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and nominated person for Ofsted
* Build strong relationships with families and external agencies
* Promote the nursery through marketing, newsletters, and social media
What We're Looking For in a Nursery Manager
* Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5/6 desirable)
* At least 2 years' leadership experience in an Early Years setting
* Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements
* Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
* Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
