Job Overview: Would you like the opportunity to work as part of a team of highly experienced and ambitious colleagues? We are looking for a skilled and well-qualified IT Technician with experience of providing high-quality technical support, preferably in a school environment. The role involves general troubleshooting and resolving simple and more complex queries arising from staff and students across our large Trust campus. To be successful, you will have a good working knowledge of common software packages and operating systems, as well as the ability to communicate clearly.
The Trust can provide excellent career development opportunities for candidates at an early stage in their career but is also actively seeking more experienced applicants who are ready to take on a greater degree of responsibility, which could attract a salary at the higher end of the advertised range. We have three school sites, and our Technicians will need to work with great flexibility and to conflicting demands with speed and agility and be part of a great and hard-working team.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality technical support across staff and students, including troubleshooting and resolving simple and complex queries.
* Maintain a good working knowledge of common software packages and operating systems.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with users to understand and resolve issues.
* Work flexibly across three school sites to meet conflicting demands with speed and agility.

* Experience of providing technical support, preferably in a school environment.
* Strong working knowledge of common software packages and operating systems.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
