Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Care Assistant, based in Ashford with the opportunity for some flexibility to work both in clients' homes and remotely for administrative tasks. Responsibilities include providing personalized care and support to clients with a focus on maintaining their independence and dignity. Day-to-day tasks involve assisting clients with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, companionship, and specialized support for individuals with dementia. Care Assistants will also engage with families to provide updates and ensure peace of mind while fostering a warm and secure environment for clients.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in Manual Handling and Caregiving to ensure the proper physical and emotional support of clients.
* Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to provide excellent care and foster meaningful connections with clients and their families.
* Specialized knowledge or experience in Dementia Care to support clients with understanding, patience, and tailored care approaches.
* Compassion, empathy, and a client-centered mindset to promote dignity and emotional well-being.
* Qualifications in Health and Social Care or related fields are highly desirable.
* Valid driver’s license preferred for local travel.
