Midgard Design Services (MDS) is our specialist design department based within our main contracting arm, Midgard, a highly successful, privately owned, national construction group head quartered in North London. With a turnover of in excess of £850m, the business is currently experiencing growth and as such seeks to strengthen our commercial teams. As part of a well-established team the successful applicant will have a fantastic opportunity to develop their architectural skills and gain experience working on some of Londons larger, more iconic schemes which will enhance their career prospects. Key Responsibilities Design & Technical Support Assist in the preparation of concept, planning, and technical drawings Develop design proposals using CAD and BIM software Produce 2D drawings, 3D models, and visualisations Support the preparation of planning and building regulation submissions Project Support Assist architects with project coordination and documentation Help prepare presentation materials and reports Attend internal meetings and, where appropriate, client or consultant meetings Support site visits and assist with site reports Skills & Experience Essential Degree in Architecture (RIBA Part I or Part II, or equivalent) Strong design and visual communication skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Good understanding of UK planning process and building regulations Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
