About the Role
We’re working with a leading FMCG business looking for a National Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with top UK retailers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong FMCG background, ideally with experience in food, private label, or retail. You’ll take ownership of national accounts, develop sales strategies, and drive growth while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role with plenty of scope to influence key business decisions and category innovation.
What You’ll Do
* Manage and grow national retail accounts, ideally with Top 6 UK grocers
* Develop and implement customer-specific sales strategies to meet targets
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your accounts
* Lead project delivery, including resource planning, critical path management, and risk assessment
* Track performance against KPIs and propose solutions to drive category growth
* Support and collaborate with wider commercial and sales teams
About You
* 2+ years’ experience managing national accounts in FMCG, ideally food or private label
* Proven commercial acumen with a strong track record of driving sales growth
* Experience with Top 6 grocers and international retail exposure is highly desirable
* Excellent project management skills, including resource planning and risk assessment
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
