As a Junior IT Technician at Airship Interactive, you will be joining a dynamic team focused on delivering world-class cinematic experiences for our partners in the gaming industry. You will play a pivotal role in helping to maintain the day-to-day IT function of a world class co-development studio.

As Junior IT Technician here at Airship you will need to have a solution focused mindset with excellent communication skills. The right person will have a strong desire to learn and grow within the field of Information Technology.
This role offers the opportunity to provide support across a range of areas including network support, application support, desktop and user support, hardware and IT infrastructure. Your day-to-day duties will be:
* Assist in managing and maintaining the company's IT systems and infrastructure.
* Provide face-to-face and remote first-line support to users on various issues and problems related to hardware, software, networking, and peripherals.
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems and applications.
* Ensure the proper functioning of laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
* Support and maintain users' accounts including password resets, user rights, and system policies.
* Monitor network performance and contribute to network upgrades and expansions.
* Troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
* Create and maintain documentation.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience.
* Create and maintain documentation.
* Experience in a customer-facing environment with a focus on providing the best experience possible.
* Experience in a similar role is not essential but would be desirable.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Windows Operating System, and basic networking principles.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in an IT support role, preferred but not required.
* Eagerness to progress and learn and adapt.
