Responsibilities:
* Proactively identifying and managing risk‑reduction activities
* Ensuring medical provision and work equipment meet legal standards
* Processing quotes and invoices through SAP
* Reporting and analysing accidents and incidents
* Liaising with insurers to support employee rehabilitation in long‑term absence cases
* Preparing reports and presentations for SLT meetings
* Maintaining documentation, systems and compliance records
* Supporting general Facilities tasks and wider Business Support Services activity
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
* A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* Confident with spreadsheets, data and analysis
* Effective communicator with great interpersonal skills
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Project coordination and planning skills
* Budget awareness and understanding of business finance
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent (desirable, not essential)
