We’re currently recruiting a Global Head of Workplace, a permanent role that will be based at our Global Headquarters in Langley, Berkshire, UK. How you’ll make an impact: In this role, you’ll drive real estate decisions across global operations, ensuring every space reflects our culture and commitment to employee experience. You’ll lead workplace services, from facilities and hospitality to security and vendor partnerships, creating environments that inspire collaboration, innovation, and belonging. You’ll also deliver space planning and construction projects, manage budgets and compliance, and play a key role in our ESG and global security initiatives. You are a blend of workplace capabilities, strategic thinking and people leadership, able and willing to shift easily between strategy, operations and execution as needed. A summary of your role in action: Real Estate & Finance Bring plans to life by implementing estate strategies and leading ESG reporting that reflects our commitment to sustainability and transparency. Design smarter, technology-enabled spaces through space planning, budget oversight, fit-out specifications and leveraging modern automation and AI solutions to enhance employee experience & productivity. Shape the future of our global footprint by managing Opex/Capex budgets and crafting forward-thinking real estate strategies that support business growth and agility. Own the portfolio—from lease negotiations to rent accounting—ensuring every location aligns with our operational goals and delivers value. Facilities Management Partner with local teams to manage budget, facilities, contracts, and events. Oversee security systems and conduct regular audits. Ensure office/building managers and third-party suppliers are compliant with SLAs. Maintain mechanical, electrical, and business critical infrastructure necessary for daily operations. Own annual insurance risk assessments and emergency drills. Health and Safety Acting as the ‘competent person’ for Travelport with overall responsibility for the Health & Safety policy. Leading, developing, establishing best practices and regularly ensuring performance of Health & Safety processes and policy ensuring compliance with country-specific laws and mandates (OSHA in the US, Modern Slavery Act in the UK, etc.) Corporate Travel Security Champion employee and contractor safety and communication channels during travel and international assignments, ensuring peace of mind wherever they go, to keep our people informed and connected. Lead crisis response efforts—including out-of-hours coordination—and deliver timely briefings to senior leadership. Serve as the primary liaison with third-party medical and security providers, ensuring seamless support. Continuously improve policies, processes, and emergency readiness across all locations. Could this be you? Strong background in international real estate acquisition, lease management, and negotiation. Skilled people leader able to manage, mentor, develop and grow individuals & teams. Solid understanding of financial and business analysis within real estate. A strategic thinker and analytical problem-solver with sound judgment. Ability to think and prioritize flexibly amongst change and transformation while also maintaining a high level of organization Adept at building positive working relationships with stakeholders of all levels Experience leveraging AI tools in real estate management— e.g., for portfolio optimization, predictive forecasting, or lease analytics is a great-to-have Knowledge of Health & Safety and ESG practices.
