Experienced Optical Assistant, Monday to Friday – Tunbridge Wells, Kent
An experienced full time Optical Assistant to work Monday to Friday ( part time may also be considered ) is required for an independent Optical Domiciliary practice based in Tunbridge Wells. The position is mainly office based, with occasional visits to deliver patients their spectacles.
The role;
Monday to Friday, office based
Liaising with patients’ family members to discuss the outcome of their eye test on the phone
Discussing options with them i.e. frame and lens choice
Costings for the patient
Liaising with Nursing Homes and patients to arrange appointments for the optometrist to visit them
Some occasions you will be required to deliver glasses but not essential
IT Proficient
The ideal candidate;
Good team player
Experienced with good optical knowledge
Caring with empathy
Good organisational skills
Good sales skills
Excellent optical knowledge
Working hours; 9.00am to 5.00pm
Monday to Friday
