We are working with an established regional main contractor based near Winchester to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join the established existing commercial team. They have been a real success story over the last decade and have continued to grow in a managed, controlled and sensible manner and have additional opportunities to work with both repeat existing and new clients who want to work with them. They operate in the commercial, industrial, education, NHS and local authority worlds on schemes up to £30 million in the Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex areas so all local projects working with local clients and local trusted supply chain and have recently been awarded new schemes in Southampton for £6 million and Fareham for £5 million. The role is to work with the precon teams and directors at contract award stages to work on procurement and initial cost planning before taking onto site to manage the packages, site financial matters such as payments, valuations, variation accounts, CVR,s, forecasting and planning multiple projects and you will be asked to look after multiple projects and juniot members of the team.
