Are you a caring and reliable individual looking to make a meaningful difference in someone's life? We're seeking Support Workers to join our dedicated team in a shared Supported Living House with three adult service users.
About the Role:
You will be supporting individuals with varying needs to live safely and comfortably in their home and community. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for person-centred care and a commitment to promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Medication management – ensuring service users take prescribed medications safely and on time.
* Food preparation – supporting individuals with meal planning and cooking.
* Personal care – assisting with dressing, hygiene, and toileting where necessary.
* General supervision – ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents throughout the day.
* Community activities – taking service users out for leisure and social activities.
* Household tasks – supporting with light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
You will work on a rolling rota, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays, alongside a team led by an experienced Care Coordinator who oversees the running of the home.
About You:
* Previous experience in care is desirable, but full training will be provided.
* A positive, compassionate attitude and strong communication skills.
* Comfortable with personal care and medication support.
* Reliable and flexible with working hours.
* A valid UK driving licence.
