The Company
They are an international market expansion and corporate innovation consultancy with clients in Europe, America, and East Asia. Established in 1990, the company has 27 offices worldwide and approximately 180 employees.
The Role and Responsibilities
To support the innovation consulting work for international clients, they are seeking a full-time Project Coordinator based either at the head offices near Oxford or in London. Hybrid working with travel is required.
You will work with project teams delivering projects for clients and support sales and marketing activities.
Priority is given to candidates with experience or strong interest in technology, including information technology, and with creative and/or copywriting skills. Interest or experience in software/digital transformation, renewable energy, or green technology is especially valued.
Responsibilities include:
1. Undertaking tasks for international corporate clients, including research, technology scouting, and new business development in Europe.
2. Compiling regular reports in English for clients.
3. Engaging with clients to facilitate collaboration with technology partners, universities, and other stakeholders in Europe.
4. Preparing schedules and accompanying overseas clients on visits to Europe.
5. Developing sales and marketing collateral for the company.
6. Performing general project delivery and marketing tasks.
Candidate Background
* University degree in business, marketing, international relations, or technology/engineering.
* Fluent in English with excellent writing and creative skills.
* Fluent Japanese preferred, ideally with experience studying or working in Japan.
* Interest or experience in business, marketing, Japan/Asia, and technology/innovation.
* Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with potential collaborators.
* Japanese language skills preferred; Korean language skills are a plus.
