Salary:
* Unqualified: Base salary of £25,755.60, with potential earnings up to £31,155.60 including sleep-in shifts.
* Qualified: Base salary of £26,303.16, with potential earnings up to £31,703.16 including sleep-in shifts.
Specific Hours: 39 hours per week

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Young Persons Support Worker, your days will be dynamic and fulfilling. From exploring the beautiful Pennine trails to enjoying the latest films or thrilling theme park adventures, your role is all about engaging with our young people based on their interests.
Your main duties will include:
* Promoting, safeguarding, and protecting the welfare of our young people.
* Building positive and trusting relationships with each child.
* Encouraging the development of individual interests and talents.
* A willingness to learn—full training is provided to help you achieve a Childcare Diploma Level 3/Apprenticeship Level 4.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Experience supporting vulnerable young people (desired but not essential).
* A commitment to the role, including availability on weekends and bank holidays.
* The ability to undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota.
* A proactive approach to participating in activities that create a homely environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team spirit.
* A genuine desire to engage, motivate, and uplift the young people in our care.
