Position: Home Manager
Location: The Lawns Care Home, Chelmsford, CM1 7JB
Job Type: Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £Competitive + 30% Home Manager Bonus

Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a multi‑disciplinary care team.
* Provide outstanding, personalized care to residents, ensuring their needs and wellbeing are prioritized.
* Manage all aspects of the home, including operational performance, budgets, and operating profit.
* Identify business opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure regulatory compliance across all relevant areas.
* Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, strengthening the Bupa brand with local authorities and primary care commissioners.
* Occasionally work out of hours or evenings as required.
Qualifications
* Strong clinical knowledge and expertise.
* Holding an LMCS, RMA or equivalent management qualification.
* Commercial acumen and strategic mindset to make a positive difference in a heavily regulated sector.
* Ability to develop an environment focused on continuous improvement.
* Effective communicator with a confident and influential leadership style.
* Registered with the regulator (required).

The Lawns is situated in Springfield, just 1.5 miles from Chelmsford station. It offers residential and nursing care with a family‑like atmosphere. The team is passionate about person‑centred care, championing dignity and independence, and organizes bespoke activities to balance activity, socialising and relaxation for each resident. Support is provided from day one through training, engagement champions and a staff breakfast club.
