About The Role The Learning Technology Centre Assistant will be responsible for supporting the full range of services provided, including helping students on computers, loaning and returning equipment/books/resources, as well as supporting online learning. Our Technology centres offer a delivery of online and digital learning resources and support for students with a range of IT queries and technology needs whether this be their own or college devices while studying at the College. Key Responsibilities • To assist with the running of the Technology Centre under the direction of the Technology Centre Team Leader. • Provide a welcoming service at the Technology Centre counter, building good relationships with Technology Centre users. This will involve resolving learners' difficulties with IT and supporting them as they work independently on their assignments. • As part of the Technology Centre team, contribute to the development, maintenance and updating of procedures and TC standards. • Provide basic technical support for Learners with Microsoft Office/Teams/Office 365/Windows/Mac and any digital resources they require • Help maintain a quiet, working environment in the Technology Centre.
