Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Head Receptionist to join The Wren. This role is 40 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays. Our reception team is the first point of contact for guests, and you will ensure consistently high standards of service and maximum guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

Responsibilities
* Supervise and motivate the team to deliver and maintain efficient standards of service to our customers at all times
* Ensure company operating standards are upheld at all times
* Carry out on-the-job coaching and training; ensure training records are maintained
* Help monitor guest feedback and take necessary actions
* Implement upselling techniques and monitor room allocations to maximise revenue
* Liaise with Reservations and Housekeeping departments
* Manage and monitor rosters to ensure staffing meets business demand
* Assist with holiday cover for Night Audit team
* Duty Management Shifts
Qualifications
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Senior Receptionist in a quality hotel of a similar size or as Head Receptionist in a smaller property
* Self-motivated with proven man-management skills, coaching and team-building abilities
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to implement, work with and monitor systems and procedures with attention to detail
* Good understanding of applicable health and safety legislation
* Excellent command of written and spoken English and numeracy
Job Details
Salary up to £31,000 per annum (DOE) plus excellent benefits. Please note we do not have staff accommodation.
