Your new role
You will work as a Building Surveyor, providing high‑quality dilapidations and condition survey services across a diverse portfolio ofmercial properties. This role suits a detail‑driven professional who enjoys autonomy, client interaction, and delivering clear, reliable technical advice.
Key Responsibilities
1. Undertaking detailed dilapidations inspections and preparing robust schedules
2. Providing strategic advice to landlords and tenants throughout the dilapidations process
3. Carrying outprehensive condition surveys and producing clear, evidence‑based reports
4. Advising clients on building defects, maintenance planning, and property liabilities
5. Working collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and external stakeholders
6. Managing workloads efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain service quality
What you'll need to succeed
7. Strong technical knowledge of building pathology and construction methods
8. Experience in dilapidations and condition surveys mercial or residential)
9. Excellent written and verbalmunication skills
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
11. Professional, organised, and confident in client‑facing situations
12. MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential, depending on experience
