Job overview BeeU Children and Young People’s Mental Health Service have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join the team. We provide evidence-based interventions focusing on addressing the mental health needs of children, young people and their families. This post is a lead position for them Family and Systemic Psychotherapy offer in the Core Mental Health Team and Community Eating Disorders team. You will work alongside our clinicians in the CAMHS service to provide systemic interventions to children, young people and their families who are experiencing Mental Health Difficulties and eating disorders. As well as systemic or direct work with young people and their families, the team will work alongside other BeeU teams and services providing leadership and supervision to other family and systemic psychotherapists, providing support, supervision and consultation to clinicians across the service and to external agencies. As a Specialist Family and Systemic Psychotherapist, you will focus on leading on developing the family and systemic offer within Core and Ceds in BeeU, providing supervision to other family and systemic psychotherapists, providing support, supervision and consultation to clinicians across the service and to external agencies. Main duties of the job This is exciting new post will focus on: Supporting the continued development and provision of a family and systemic psychotherapy offer for children, young people and their families who are accessing BeeU (CAMHS) mental health services. Providing systemic psychotherapy interventions to the families and carers requiring the expertise of the Core and Eating Disorders team, and other mental health services within BeeU as required Providing a systemic perspective to case discussion and promoting systemic thinking within multiagency meetings and conversations To be part of the leadership of BeeU and support in continued development of quality services for children and young people. Managing a complex caseload and providing consultation and/or clinical supervision to other team members and colleagues where appropriate Working as part of and supporting the Multi-Disciplinary Team within the Core team alongside other Family Therapy and Psychological Therapist/Psychologist colleagues. Provision of clinical supervision within the CEDS and Core team. Providing supervision, consultation and training to colleagues across BeeU services as agreed with the Professional Lead for Psychological Therapies (Shropshire). Contributing to and assist in the development and co-ordination of effective audit and reporting tools for clinical supervision, practice and activity, within the CYPIAPT/ THRIVE frameworks and CEDS-CYP service.
